King's School Charity Fundraiser - Movember

On Tuesday 25 November there was a non school uniform day and moustache stand to raise money for prostate and testicular cancer charities.

 

Year 12 students James Clack and David Theisler assisted by Mr Deller organised the non uniform day to raise money for prostate and testicular cancer. charities.  They also ran a moustache stand at lunch where they sold 6 different styles of stick on moustaches at 50p and £1. 

The non uniform day raised over £800 and the moustache stand sold 220 moustaches to students and staff and raised a further £145.

A local charity called Positive Health are also giving assemblies this week about prostate and testicular cancer to increase awareness.
