Year 7 Informal Parents' Evening & E-Safety Talk

Year 7 Informal Parents' Evening and E-Safety talk took place on Monday 28 September.

Year 7 parents attended an e-safety talk and social event on Monday evening.

The first part of the evening took place in the School Hall where Alan Mackenzie explored risks to children whilst using digital technology.  For many years Alan was the e-safety lead at Lincolnshire County Council.  As a CEOP ambassador he now works with schools and local authorities and is a regular contributor to national newspapers.  During the school day Year 7 students also attended a workshop to discuss issues surrounding e-safety.

The second part of the evening took place in the Old School and provided an opportunity for parents to meet Form Tutors, Head of Year 7 and  the Senior Leadership Team in an informal setting.  They were also able to meet other parents whilst enjoying a glass of wine and nibbles.
