World Breaking Maths Lesson

91 boys take part in Guinness World Record attempt.

On Tuesday 3 November, 91 boys from Year 8 and Year 12 participated in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest simultaneous science and maths lesson. The event was coordinated globally by Bubbly maths and iis anticipated that over 45,000 students from 18 countries were all learning about DNA at exactly 11:00am GMT on that day. Our lesson involved fact learning, the maths used to represent very small and very large numbers, a team quiz and then making different models of DNA.
