The school has recently been notified that it has been awarded a £237,000 grant by the Department For Education to complete the re-roofing of our Grade 1 Listed Library - which is of course, Sir Isaac Newton's Old School. This will enable this long standing project to be completed. Work is planned to commence in September and completion anticipated by 31 March 2013.

The school also gained a further grant of £63,000 to refurbish the Tower Block - this will see all 14 classrooms upgraded, reglazed and redecorated during the summer break.

During the summer the Main School Hall and Lower Foyer areas will also be upgraded and an External Canopy will be installed outside the hall complex for packed lunch boys. The quad is also due to be resurfaced by late July 12. A new multigym will also be installed in the relocated PE departmental area.
