BIOLOGY

Biology is a natural science concerned with the study of life and living organisms, including their structure, function, growth, origin, evolution, distribution, and taxonomy. It looks at the worlds of both plants and animals, including humans, and the greater environment within which they interact and survive. Numerous links can be made between different biological areas, separate branches of the sciences and other curriculum areas, in order to give pupils a relevant and comprehensive appreciation of the subject.

The following staff are all Biology specialists with several years of experience teaching both their specialism in Years 7-13 and general science including Chemistry and Physics in Years 7-9.
