Community
The school is a long-established part of the local Grantham and district community and we enjoy close relationships with organisations, businesses and agencies across the town.
Our Old Boys’ Society is vibrant and we encourage ongoing links and return visits by former pupils, who will always be given a warm welcome ‘home’.
The PTFA is very active in support of the school and we are indebted to the parents, carers, staff and friends of King’s who give up their time so readily (and frequently) to organise events designed to raise funds for the school and to promote involvement and a sense of King’s School community.
The school operates a Gift Aid scheme, which is supported by parents, carers and old boys. This is a very important source of income for the school and provides the ‘extras’ which would not otherwise be available to the boys. Please consider supporting the school in this tax-efficient way, which is described on the link opposite. Funds received are spent on the pupils in school today and immediate benefit is felt by all in the school.
The school also has two other 'on-line' fund raising initiatives which you can investigate on the toolbar to the left:
- earn cash for King's whilst you search on line using the King's School endorsed search engine Ask.com.
- earn cash for King's whilst you spend on line using the easyfundraising page.
