Cricket is the major summer sport and enjoys a proud tradition.  Last season we ran five teams (under 12s, 13s, 14s, 15s and 1st XI) with each team completing eleven fixtures. In order to keep our fixture list strong we play several independent schools on a yearly basis, including Loughborough Grammar, Worksop College, Trent College and Stamford School. 

We also have a yearly fixture against the MCC and Old Boy’s. The school has invested heavily over recent years to improve the cricket facilities and have purchased sightscreens, covers, new boundary rope and had the wicket re-laid, in order to make the venue look good.  Winter training takes place using the excellent indoor cricket centre at the school.
