Early Evening Cleaner (15 hours per week)
GLEA Grade 1, Points 2 to 3
15 hours per week, 39 weeks per year to include term time
Required to start as soon as possible for 15 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 3.30pm to 6.30pm) during term time plus 15 additional hours (39 weeks year), a resourceful, enthusiastic cleaner who is able to work as part of a small team to ensure sanitisation of specific areas of the School. A detailed job description for this post is available to download below or from HR on request, however in summary this role involves cleaning of surfaces, handles and floors, sanitisation of toilet facilities, general tidying and removal of rubbish from designated areas in the school to include offices, classrooms, corridors, stairwells and toilets.
Previous experience of working in a similar role is desirable but not essential as training will be given.
The post is 15 hours per week Monday to Friday during term time plus 15 additional hours in times of school closure (39 working weeks per year). The starting salary grade for this post is (GLEA) Grade 1 Points 2-3 (£534 per calendar month.
The start date for this position is as soon as possible.
King’s is an all boys’ grammar school – with a cohort of approximately 1,200 students, is very popular and is often over-subscribed.
