Part-time Teacher of Science

As part of The King’s School’s initiative to enhance and develop our science programme, we are delighted to announce an opening for a part-time position in the Science Department. The post is likely to be offered on a part-time basis between 0.3 & 0.5 FTE dependent on the final timetable requirements for the next academic year. The ability to teach Biology to GCSE is essential for this post. The role would suit an experienced teacher wishing to further develop their career or a committed ECT looking to get their career off to a good start. A full induction and CPD support programme will be made available to the successful candidate.

The start date for this position is September 2021.

In our most recent OFSTED inspection, The King’s School was judged as outstanding. As such, our all boys’ grammar school – with a cohort of approximately 1,200 students – is very popular and is often over-subscribed.

Whilst a closing date for applications has been set, we reserve the right to interview and appoint a suitable candidate prior. This being the case we would encourage early applications for the post. The initial selection of candidates will take place on a remote basis.
