Year 13 Curriculum

Subject Area: Biology

The second year of the A level course builds on the skills and understanding developed from the first year.  Students must be able to:

  • Describe and explain facts and processes in detail and with accuracy
  • Apply what they have learned.
  • Interpret new information
  • Analyse experimental data
  • Evaluating information
  • Apply knowledge and understanding of more than one area to a particular situation
  • Bring together biological knowledge and understanding from different areas of the subject
