Oxbridge Interviews

Year 13 Oxbridge interviews and workshop

On Wednesday 5 October, Simon Bucknall, an Oxford graduate and twice UK & Ireland Champion of Public Speaking, worked with Year 13 Oxbridge applicants on interview skills.  An Oxford graduate (‘95-‘98), Simon has first-hand experience of the university interview process – and has since delivered communications skills sessions for students, academics and faculty in schools, colleges and universities across the country. He is also a frequent speaker at the Cambridge University Department of Engineering, Oxford’s Said Business School and the Oxford Blavatnik School of Government.  He is also a Fellow of the UK Professional Speaking Association and a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts, Manufacturing & Commerce.

The evening workshop was delivered to Year 13 Oxbridge/medicine applicants and high performing Year 12 students and their parents.  The practical and interactive workshop ‘demystified’ the Oxbridge interview process giving practical tips and insights to help students make the most of their opportunity.
