Atom Learning 'Free 11+ Familiarisation'

The King's School is open to pupils from all backgrounds.

To help children develop their skills, confidence and subject knowledge, the School is partnering with Atom Learning, a leading learning and 11+ preparation platform for ages 7 – 11, to provide those eligible for pupil premium with free access to a range of fun and engaging materials to help them progress during Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 (specifically ages 7-11).

The programme is designed to benefit all participants, whatever their current attainment level, but it may be helpful in familiarising those hoping to apply to academically selective secondary schools with some of the topics and skills that they might encounter in those processes.

If your child has been eligible for free school meals at any point in the last six years, they will be given entirely free access to Atom Home by registering via The King's School below. You do not need to be planning to apply to The King's School to be eligible, and the materials are equally open to girls and boys. We hope, however, that after having built their skills and confidence through the platform, some boys will feel encouraged to sit for our entrance examination.

While the resources include some mock 11+ style tests, they are focussed on the acquisition of knowledge and skills which are applicable to all. They should not be assumed to prepare candidates specifically for the Lincolnshire 11+ test.

Whatever your future aspirations, we believe that these learning resources could prove an enjoyable and effective way of supporting progress. Click on the below link to register for access to the Atom Home platform. Your child’s primary school will be required to provide proof of eligibility for pupil premium as part of this process.

For other families, access to the same resources can be purchased directly from Atom.
