The Curriculum

Our mission is driven by a shared sense to provide a strong education base to facilitate the best opportunities for students, with a focus on providing opportunities to progress onto University and Higher Level apprenticeships.

This moral purpose is at the heart of everything we do, and our intent is to work inclusively with determination and integrity to achieve this mission.

Our curriculum supports student and provides opportunities to enable better life chances so that they leave the school equipped to make an extraordinary contribution to society.

The school's ambition is that subjects' are traditional in their range and offer breadth, depth and challenge at every Key Stage. Teaching encourages knowledge recall and new knowledge acquisition.

The information presented below details our curriculum offer for all Key Stages.

Progress for All

Students are supported in their studies at every stage. The boys’ well-being and progress are monitored by form tutors, subject staff and Heads of Year while the student planners enable parents to oversee their sons’ homework and to gain an understanding of their day to day commitments and learning.
