Entry into Years 8-11
Applicants for entry into Years 8-11 will be required to take nationally standardised tests at the school to assess their suitability for admission unless they have previously passed the 11+ test here or at another Lincolnshire Consortium Grammar School. If necessary, we will give due consideration to those candidates who have a special educational need or whose first language is not English.
Please see the Admission Policy Page for details on Admission criteria and the process for application.
Please enquire directly with Miss Louise Bremner (Admissions) about the limited availability of places. If you wish your son to be considered for a place in Years 8–11, please contact Miss Bremner for an in-year registration form. Students will be invited for testing once a place becomes available in the relevant year group. Please note that registrations for testing in the academic year 2025-2026 will not be accepted until 1 September 2025.
The parents/carers of any applicant who is not offered a place, subsequent to the submission of an application form through Lincolnshire County Council (in-year application) which is met by refusal, have the right to appeal to an independent panel whose decision will be binding on both the school and the appellant.
