Dr Aric Sigman delivered a series of talks to Year 9 students on Thursday 3 March on 'The Facts About Alcohol'. He also delivered an evening talk to parents on 'Parenting the Demanding Generation' based on his book 'The Spoilt Generation'. A copy of the handout can be downloaded here.
Dr Sigman is a Fellow of the Society of Biology, Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and a Chartered Scientist. He has worked extensively with the Department of Health, European Parliament and the Royal College of Paediatrics on teenage health. He has published five books and has worked on teenage health campaigns with the Department of Health. As a health education specialist he lectures at schools, medical schools and to NHS doctors and is a regular guest on television debates. Dr Sigman also travels abroad frequently to study child wellbeing and development in various cultures.
