Four boys selected for the NLD U16s
Four boys have been selected for the NLD U16’s representative team. Boys from every school and club in Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire had the opportunity to trial for the team with the squad eventually being reduced to just 35. Harry Clough has demonstrated his undoubted talent as a potential star of the future with some excellent performances from the scrum half position. Sam Hawkins and Danny Stokes have acquitted themselves expertly on the wings and George Park has been hugely impressive with his play from back row. NLD U16 Head Coach Clive Lindsay, who is also Head of Rugby at King’s said “The boys have represented themselves and their school with great distinction over the trial process. They can rightly be very proud of their achievement of making the team and earning the opportunity to play rugby against some of the best players of their age in the country.” The NLD team will play against Staffordshire, Eastern Counties and Leicestershire over the next 6 weeks.
