Sixth Form Induction

Year 11 students who have completed a Sixth Form application are invited to attend the King's School Sixth Form Induction Programme.

The induction will take place over two full days, on 21 and 22 June, from 8:45am to 3:45pm.

During the induction, students will experience a full programme reflecting life in the Sixth Form. They will meet their form tutor, their A Level subject teachers, and be introduced to the curriculum content that will form the foundation of their studies. Students will also receive details of their summer bridging work, designed to support a smooth and successful transition into Year 12.

As with every day of Sixth Form study, attendance at the induction is an expectation for all students. The two days provide an important opportunity to become familiar with the academic demands, routines, and expectations of Sixth Form life, and to make the strongest possible start to their post-16 journey at King's.
