The marketing and social media promotions are going very well, overall it is cracking!

Funding Request(s)

1. £720 requested from the PE department for new gymnastics mats. APPROVED by all PTFA members.
2. Some new funding requests were received just after this meeting and will be discussed at the next meeting (The AGM)

Ball Planning / PTFA Ball

Confirmed date of 10th October 2026

• Masonic hall summary: A 3-course meal will cost £33.95 per person. That allows for 2 choices from each course, along with a veggie option. We will also hold the price of a bottle of Prosecco at £19-50. Chargeable on the night. (Approx 7 glasses per bottle).
• A spike in raffle donations and purchases was seen immediately following an email sent out to parents. PTFA staff to focus on donations.
• Simon to do a Newton quiz. Simon to also ask Grace at school for help raise prizes.
• 6 PTFA meeting are Tony and Julie (the new chef) at the masonic hall to discuss the requirements on Tuesday 15/09/2026 at 6.15pm.

Sunji, Sarah and Elena have resigned

New members Sally C and Sallyann’s husband to join April 2027.

Chair update – Elli’s sons left a few years ago, so she is hoping someone else will be the Chair. However, she will not leave until someone else is in place. Or this could be two people if they could work together and share.
